Mother's Day Weekend

So we were going to go camping, but instead we went to see Carson's brother in Kingman. (He's normally in Montana & you can't miss seeing your family when they are that close) We also had to get our 4-wheeler to Jerob (Carson's brother) to take back to Carson's mom. So we ended up driving our old truck. Mind you I love our old truck. I wouldn't trade it for anything, but the a/c went out about a week ago & the trip to Kingman is about 3 1/2 hours in this truck. It was a hot trip.

We had fun. We got to spend time with a family Jerob met on his mission. Carson and Jerob helped them cut 3 of their studs. Madi thought the whole things was great... horses, dogs, cows, open space to run in, and plenty of old equipment and pens to explore.

I tell you... I think Carson is good looking, but he looks best when he's in his cowboy garb and doing some form of ranch work. Nothin's better than a hard workin' man!

On our way out of town we stopped at a park to look at an old train. It was pretty cool. You could look inside the engine.

All in all we had a preety good trip.

Face Time

Madi loves the camera. She always wants to see her picture. It's getting to the point where I can't get a good shot because she holds still for one second then runs to look at the camera. These are a few of the good shots I have been able to get recently.

Oh what do you do in the summer time...

It's been in the triple digits for the last 2 weeks! UGH!! So we have taken advantage of the not too hot weather and played in the water almost every day. This fountain is within a few miles from my house & best of all, it's free. They are always a little timid at first, but then Madi and Tristen absolutely love it.

Happy Easter

I thought I loved Easter before... Boy was I wrong! Having a kid for easter time is much better. Our community had an easter egg hunt in our community park on Saturday. It rained all day. (the one day it does rain) I actually loved it! Madi caught on to what was going on pretty quickly. We made out with some pretty sweet goods.
My mom made Madi and her cousin matching dresses for Easter. I absolutely love it!
Sunday morning we had another egg hunt in our backyard since Madi enjoyed it so much. Here are a few pictures of our excitement.

Madi like Daddy

When Carson is home and awake, I always know where to find Madi... right beside her daddy. She loves to do every and anything he does. The other day he went in the garage to work on his ATV. Madi walked right behind him, picked a tool out of the tool box, and started banging on the ATV. It was super cute!

BFF

I am currently watching my friend's son 4 days a week. This is the first picture I've taken of the two of them together. I would go as far as to say Madi considers him her best friend at the moment.
