My mom came to visit for a week. Madi had a great time with her. They read stories, played with toys,

played on the swings,
made & frosted cookies.

Mom also made a cowboy quilt for Cal. We think it turned out fabulous!

Hatching for Halloween

We had a great time at our ward halloween party. I was a farmer, Carson and Madi were chickens & Cal was a little egg. My mom was visiting & helped us turn our truck into a barn.

There was a pie eating contest as well. Last year I barely lost to Brother Knudsen. This year I barely beat him! It was great fun!

Madilyn was born Oct. 20, 2007. She is now offically 2 Years old. What a fun day. Grammy flew in & we got to take a trip to the Airport. She loved all her presents as well.

This wonderful present was from Grammy. (Also a boa & flower wand)

We had a great time decorating Madi's birthday cake.

Madi's ABC's

Here is Madi singing her ABC's. Jo and I thought it was just super cute. Madi loves to sing. It's really fun when she comes home from nursery singing a new song & I get to figure out what it is.

We all love him

Madi sure does like to hold, poke, pinch, squeeze, pet, love, push, and pull her little brother. She has also told me to put him down a few times. It's pretty fun to see how she is reacting to Cal.
We have had a pretty fun week with our new baby. He is pretty great. So far, he doesn't cry much, he only eats every 3-4 hours, and he is very alert and happy when awake.

We have had Carson's mom with us this week & Madi has enjoyed every second of it. She is leaving today & Madi is definately going to miss her Grandma Jo.
We went to Westgate the other day & it was warm enough we let Madi get in the fountain in her clothes. It was great day.
