Cal has refused to crawl forward. He rolls and pivots to get everywhere he needs to be. So, for the last week I've been working with him. I have to put something he really wants in front of him and then keep him from rolling over while trying ot get it. Here is the progress we've made so far. . .
I don't blame him for being grumpy. It's hard to drag 23 lbs across the floor this those little arms.

Cal is so cute! 23 pounds? What a chunk! And hooray for a baby in January! How fun! I can't wait to see you all at the family reunion in like 2 weeks!
So what was Cal trying so hard to get? I cann't wait to hold him and squeeze him, and love him and pet him.
I miss these kids real bad and love that Madi is singing her favorite song in the background.
