Let the games begin!
It would be awesome to have Madi potty trained before the baby came! However, I've been hesitant about it, because she doesn't seem to have an interest in using the potty. She's cool to sit on it for a while, but then asks for her diaper. So today I decided we are going to be proactive about it & be consistent. I went and bought her bed time panties (pull-ups) & sesame street panties. I planned on starting her training next week, but she had to put on her "elmo panties". So I guess tonight is our trial run. Pray for me...

come on over and we can have a potty party at my house. that way they are only peeing on one floor. lol.
good luck! I decided the same thing--I wanted James trained before baby 2. So I finally went and bought Elmo undies and we borrowed an Elmo potty training movie and then me and James stayed home for 3 days straight with the potty in the living room and the Elmo movie on repeat in the DVD player. So yeah, I brainwashed him into potty training via Elmo, but it worked. No diapers--it's pretty sweet!
I used sprinkles to bribe Brinley, every time she used the potty she got some sprinkles in her hand. She must have loved that, it took about 4 days. It is so nice to have only one in diapers at a time, good luck!!!
I hope things are working out well. It is not easy. We started training Stefany right before she left and the next foster mom did not continue to. So much for that. I must say though...Madi looks cute and interested in the undies...that is a good good sign!
